We are two energetic educators from a small German community in southern Indiana. Though we don't necessarily love to polka, we do love to educate, engage, learn, laugh, collaborate, explore, and get our hands dirty. We love our school, our students, our families, and Jesus.
Between the two of us we are mothers to four sons, one daughter, a dog, and husbands who sometimes act like our children. ;) We have been teaching for over 25 years combined, and we learn something new every day!
Andrea has three years of first grade experience, six years of third grade, and is currently in her sixth year of teaching second grade. She also has a year of experience working with High Ability students, as well as a couple of years substitute teaching!
Ashley spent eight years teaching second grade and is currently in her fourth year teaching first grade. Both of us LOVE following blogs and trying new, hands-on approaches to our lessons. We have dabbled in room transformations and look forward to finally sharing how we utilize some amazing resources and ideas in our classrooms!
